Based in Shanghai, we bring you authentic, high-quality Chinese teas and the stories behind them.

Tea`Shanghai was created for people who are genuinely curious about real Chinese tea — For loose-leaf teas, not mass-produced blends, not flavored imitations, and not tea with vague origins.

We work directly with small tea gardens and traditional producers in China’s core tea regions, including Fujian, Zhejiang, Yunnan, Anhui, and Guangdong, focusing on authenticity, transparency, and craftsmanship.

Many Chinese teas sold overseas lose their identity — their true origin, processing style, and character are often diluted or misrepresented. Our goal is simple: to present Chinese tea as it actually is, not as a simplified export version.

Chinese tea is best enjoyed slowly. Many of our teas are suitable for gongfu-style brewing, allowing the flavor to evolve over multiple infusions.
